French Canadian folk/roots musician Emilie Clepper will be at Central Market on Friday. No doubt she'll be playing some songs from her new Texas Eagle EP.

Artist of the Month shows happen every Wednesday. There's acoustic music outside on the patio at 7pm, and then the fun continues in the ballroom, with guest artists and then the main headliner.

I'm a big fan of Texas French Bread, a cafe/restaurant with great food on the corner of 29th and Rio Grande. But it was only recently that I discovered it has a rich musical history, especially during its time as the Rome Inn.
